The answer is no!
Every wicker work you see is made by hand - even mass produced products in China. It's cheaper to pay people pennies on mass than to design and build a machine to make wilmlow coffins and baskets!
I love the creativity of working with many complex processes, that add up to make a willow coffin.
Do you have a favourite willow or Woven object?
Mine has to be a 100 year old baby weighing scales using a 'fitching' technique...
